At the traffic lights on the A38 at Alveston (by Berkeley Vale Motors) turn onto the B4061 and follow it downhill entering the town of Thornbury at the end of the High Street.
Turn right into Chapel Street (one way only) and the museum lies on the right between the Armstrong Hall and the Wheatsheaf Inn.
A short stay car park (limit 2 hours) is situated opposite the museum. For long term car parking carry on to the T junction in front of the police station, turn left into Rock Street and then next right into Bath Road.
Wheelchair access is available to the ground floor. A disabled toilet is situated behind the museum.
