Thornbury Roots - a fantastic website, compiled by Chris & Sandra Doig, members of the Research Group at the Museum, containing a mass of historical information about houses, streets and people of Thornbury, as well as aspects of Thornbury life (e.g. the railway, the police). If you are trying to research family members from the Thornbury area, this is a good place to check out. There are also links to various databases of source materials. You can cheerfully spend hours and days on this website!
